DESCRIPTION

To protect the environment, engines and oils used in diesel vehicles are being modified in order to reduce emissions. In response to increasingly strict exhaust restrictions, diesel engine vehicles are equipped with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) systems, which expose the engine oils to increasingly severe operating requirements. Today, diesel engine requires low oil consumption (to reduce the amount of particulate matter), longer-life (to reduce oil change frequency), improved mileage (to increase the usage efficiency of fuels and reduce carbon dioxide emissions) and protect exhaust-gas treatment equipment, especially exhaust catalyst. ENEOS Diesel Oil CI-4 is specially formulated to meet all of these requirements.
